Power Meter

The APM Power Meter range has digital panel meters for single phase and split phase, and 3-phase applications. The user-programmable power meter provides precision measurement and instant alerts, making it safer and more efficient.

Flexible digital power meter for electrical monitoring

The Power Meter is a panel mounted power meter for use on mains circuits up to 300VAC and 1000A. Its multi-measurement capability of active and reactive power make it ideal for a wide range of power monitoring applications and one of the most flexible power meters for electrical monitoring .
It is designed to provide users instant and precision monitoring of an electrical circuit’s performance by simultaneously displaying multiple electrical parameters, custom alerts and messages via the APM’s unique LCD display.

The power Meter comes in two models:

– The P1: single-phase or split-phase digital power meter

– The P3: single-, split- and 3-phase digital power meter with MODBUS

Single phase, split phase, or 3-phase power measurement

Whether it is single phase, split phase, or 3-phase mains applications, both P1 and P3 Power Meters provide electricity measurement (either instantaneous or max) for:

– Voltage (V)

– Current (I)

– Reactive Power (VAr)

– Active Power (W)

– Apparent Power (VA)

– Frequency (Hz)

– Power Factor (PF)

– Kilowatt (kW) and Kilowatt per hour (kWh)

Both P1 and P3 models feature two independent digital outputs, pulsed or alarmed, as well as an analogue 4-20mA output to connect directly into your systems.

For wider connectivity, the P3 model also includes MODBUS RTU communication.

Programmable Power Meter

The APM Power Meter’s programmable scale and annunciators allow users to customise the meter to display parameters exactly as they need. The front buttons allow it to be configured without removal from the mount or the requirement for multiple meters.

It all leads to a safer and more efficient power meter for the end-user. Programmable set points and customisable alerts, including dynamic backlighting and messages, signal when a parameter is out of range.

Digital Panel LCD Display vs. Analogue Panel Meter

Both have their advantages, but there is no reason to have to choose between an analogue and digital meter. Only the APM range of panel meters has the best of both. The unique display combines the instant recognition and intuitive readings of an analogue, moving coil panel meter and the accuracy, precision, and control of modern digital meters.

The backlit LCD digital display, an equal to the leading LED screens, is viewable from wide angles and in almost any environment or conditions, from direct sunlight to low level lighting. The multi-line starburst area provides accurate readings for precision power monitoring and custom messages/annunciators. The Power Meter’s digital bar-graph display provides instant recognition of parameters, as with traditional analogue moving coil panel meters.
